Following the commencement of Ramadan fasting, the Executive Governor of Kebbi State, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, has approved a reduction in official working hours for public servants across the state.

According to a letter signed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry for Establishment, Pension and Training, Hafsat Ibrahim Tune, the working hours during Ramadan will be adjusted as follows: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Ibrahim Tune stated that the normal working schedule will resume at the end of the Ramadan period. Workers are expected to adhere to the revised hours throughout the fasting season.
