Comedian and actor Woli Arole has praised TikTok star Peller for his bold attempts to meet American streamer IShowSpeed in Lagos, while offering guidance on managing fame responsibly.
Taking to Instagram, Arole lauded Peller’s courage, writing, “I celebrate your audacity despite you being BIG here in Nigeria… that’s some guts there! Despite what seems like an embarrassment, you still tried again.” He noted that many critics do not have half of Peller’s influence, money, or reach, and urged people to speak to him with grace.
The comedian also advised Peller to secure solid management, seek education, and surround himself with wise counsel. He wrote:
“Please get a solid Management. Please seek education; it will solidify your brand. Please have elderly people in your team. Seek solid Branding. Overall, don’t stop. Be careful how you talk; words carry power. Be cautious of pride; it can make anyone fall. Learn to listen when you’re talked to, too. Life is more than fame. Peller, you’re our goat here. God bless you!!!”
Arole reposted an old clip where Peller had said he would ignore IShowSpeed if he visited Nigeria, using the moment to caution him about the dangers of pride and public perception.
Peller’s attempt to meet the streamer drew attention online, as he reportedly ran alongside IShowSpeed’s convoy, tried climbing a vehicle, and even rode a horse through traffic.
Adding his voice, Cubana Chief Priest defended Peller, saying there is no shame in striving to achieve one’s goals, encouraging young influencers to pursue their ambitions with determination and guidance.
