Global music star Wizkid has set a new landmark in African music history, becoming the first African artist to surpass 10 billion streams on Spotify.

The achievement was recorded across all his credits on the streaming platform, cementing the Nigerian singer’s status as one of Africa’s most influential exports in the global music industry.

Born Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, the Ojuelegba crooner reached the milestone through a catalogue that spans solo hits, chart-topping collaborations and critically acclaimed albums.
