Fuji music icon Saheed Osupa has publicly responded to a controversial prophecy that predicted his death on January 10, 2026. The prediction was made by Nigerian Islamic cleric, Alpha Olopa Meta, who claimed to have interceded with God on Osupa’s behalf and instructed the singer to buy a ram for prayers.

During a live performance on Sunday, January 11, Osupa addressed the prophecy directly, warning those wishing him harm. “Fake Alpha and prophet, please don’t wish me dead. Everyone who wishes me dead will die in my place,” Osupa declared to his audience.
