Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has denied allegations of stealing $40,000 from her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, amid a bitter marital dispute.
During a live broadcast on social media, Daniels revealed that she and certain family members are facing an arrest warrant in connection with the alleged theft. She, however, insisted the claims were false and baseless.
“It’s confirmed, it’s true, and I’ve verified that it’s Ned. There is a warrant on everyone, including myself,” she said.
Daniels dismissed the accusation as illogical, pointing out that the senator reportedly does not keep cash at home.
“He is claiming that we stole $40,000 from his house, yet he doesn’t even keep money at home. So how could we have stolen $40,000?” she questioned.
The allegations come amid a highly publicised and ongoing marital crisis between the actress and the billionaire politician, which has already drawn national attention. Daniels has previously accused Nwoko of domestic issues, while the senator has pursued legal actions against members of her inner circle.
The situation has escalated into a legal and public feud, raising questions about celebrity disputes, domestic conflicts, and the Nigerian justice system’s role in high-profile cases.
As of now, neither Senator Ned Nwoko nor the Nigeria Police Force has issued further comments on the matter.
