A 30-year-old woman in Delta State has confessed to killing her husband with a machete and injuring two other women in a violent rampage fueled by uncontrolled anger.

According to a video released by the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, the woman attacked her husband, striking him five times with a machete before sending her child to summon a neighbour. When the neighbour arrived, she allegedly attempted to attack her with the same weapon.

The violence escalated further, with the suspect reportedly deceiving another woman into leaving her home and assaulting her with a hammer. Both women were hospitalized and are reported to be in critical condition.

SP Edafe displayed the bloodstained machete and hammer in the video and explained:
“She killed her husband and sent her own child to go and call a neighbour. As the neighbour opened the door, she carried the same machete to attack that woman. It did not end there. She carried her two children, picked a hammer, went to another woman’s house, and hit her on the head. They eventually captured her and rescued the woman.”
