Two men have been charged with terrorism-related offences following the killing of three women during a violent communal clash in Lamurde Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

The Adamawa State Police Command confirmed on Friday that the suspects were arraigned in court over their alleged roles in the attack, which occurred last month around Tigno village.

Police said the victims—three women—were killed while working on their farm at the height of the conflict, which also led to the destruction of property in the area.

The Commissioner of Police in the state, CP Dankombo Morris, reiterated the command’s commitment to ensuring justice for the victims and restoring peace in the affected communities. He urged residents to remain calm and law-abiding, noting that investigations are ongoing to apprehend other suspects linked to the violence.
