On the sidelines of the summit, the Vice President held bilateral meetings on carbon market cooperation. These discussions aim to unlock $2.5 billion to $3 billion annually in carbon finance over the next decade, supporting Nigeria’s transition to a low-carbon economy.

The delegation included other world leaders, development partners, and business executives, underscoring Nigeria’s role as a key voice in global climate discussions.
