Nollywood actress Uche Montana has publicly denied allegations linking her to the ongoing drug-related controversy surrounding fellow actress Regina Daniels and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.

Montana addressed the claims on her Instagram page on Monday, responding to assertions made by Nwoko in a lengthy Facebook post. The senator had named Montana, along with other close friends and relatives of Regina Daniels, as allegedly undermining her rehabilitation by ignoring doctors’ directives and allegedly supplying prohibited substances.

“My attention has been drawn to a circulating post that appears to link my name to certain claims,” Montana stated. “For clarity, I have no involvement or connection to the situation described. This note is simply to set the record straight and protect my peace.”

The actress’ statement comes amid intensifying scrutiny over Regina Daniels’ marriage to Nwoko. Two weeks ago, Daniels had accused the senator of domestic abuse in a viral video, describing herself as a “slave” in his home. Nwoko has since rejected these claims, asserting that his wife struggles with “drug and alcohol addiction” and alleging she assaulted domestic staff.

The dispute continues to draw national attention, highlighting ongoing tensions within the high-profile couple’s personal and public lives.
