Nigerian singer Simisola Kosoko, popularly known as Simi, has achieved a major milestone with her hit single ‘Duduke’, earning her first-ever foreign music certification.

The song was recently certified Gold in New Zealand, having sold 15,000 units, marking Simi’s first international accolade.

Released in 2022, ‘Duduke’ captures the rhythmic beat of Simi’s heart for her unborn child and was accompanied by a music video where she proudly flaunted her baby bump. The track also inspired the viral ‘Duduke Challenge’, where fans were invited to create their own renditions and interpretations of the song.
