Laila Charani, one of Senator Ned Nwoko’s wives, has publicly accused her co-wife, actress Regina Daniels, of introducing her to drug use and influencing others around the family. Charani made the allegations in a post on Instagram following Daniels’ claim that other wives in the household were also involved with drugs.
According to Charani, the intervention of her husband prevented her from losing her marriage after being introduced to drugs by Daniels. She insisted that the ongoing dispute between Daniels and Nwoko stems from the senator’s insistence that Daniels quit her alleged drug and alcohol use. Charani stressed that her husband neither drinks alcohol nor smokes.
Charani further alleged that Daniels’ behaviour has had a corrupting influence on household staff and relatives, including her younger sister, Destiny. “You have been a bad influence since you married into this beautiful family, giving drugs to nannies and our workers,” she wrote, highlighting the broader impact of Daniels’ alleged actions.
The Moroccan wife also accused Daniels of lesbianism, claiming she engages in sexual relationships with women. “I will not trust my daughters around you unsupervised, especially when I found out that you were sleeping with every single girl around you,” Charani added.
Charani urged Daniels to seek psychological help and to refrain from involving Nwoko’s other wives in her personal disputes with the senator. She emphasised that the ongoing conflict should remain between Daniels and Nwoko, without affecting the rest of the family.
The social media post has since attracted widespread attention and debate online, with many Nigerians weighing in on the explosive claims. The allegations add a new dimension to the ongoing public dispute involving Daniels, Nwoko, and other members of the household.
