Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has voiced deep concern over the alleged arrest and disappearance of her younger brother, Sammy Daniels, urging Nigerian authorities to disclose his whereabouts.
The actress took to her verified Instagram page on Wednesday to accuse security operatives of detaining her brother incommunicado for more than 24 hours, without access to family members or legal representation.
Her outcry comes amid ongoing controversy surrounding her marriage to Senator Ned Nwoko, which has drawn widespread public and media attention. Regina suggested that her brother’s arrest may be connected to the growing tension within her personal life.
“Finally, some people now have a video that makes them think they can mock me, chai! But it’s okay. My entire focus right now is to know the whereabouts of my brother. WHERE IS SAMMY NED!!!” she wrote.
She went on to criticize what she described as the inaction of senior police officials, claiming that one of the top-ranking officers told her “his hands are tied.” The actress expressed frustration over what she called a lack of accountability within the force.
“Now this fight is going to be power for power, or rather aura for aura,” she declared, adding that she would not be intimidated or silenced. Using the hashtag #FreeSammy, Regina vowed to pursue justice until her brother is found.
The actress, who described herself as emotionally drained but unbroken, said she was ready to use her influence to demand transparency and fairness from law enforcement. Her posts have since gone viral, with fans and colleagues rallying support for her family.
