Sammy Daniels, brother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has been released on N5 million bail, following several days in detention.
The bail was granted on Monday, November 10, 2025, after Sammy was initially remanded at Keffi Prison by a Dutse Magistrate Court on Thursday and subsequently transferred to Suleja Prison.
His release was celebrated on Instagram by his elder brother, who wrote, “Sammy, you are a great man. Bail has been granted! Nigerians, thank you.”
Sammy’s arrest last week in Lagos was reportedly initiated by Senator Ned Nwoko, allegedly in connection with the ongoing highly publicised breakup and family disputes with actress Regina Daniels.
The case has intensified media attention on the ongoing legal and personal conflicts surrounding the Daniels-Nwoko family.
