The mother of Nollywood star Regina Daniels, Rita Daniels, has accused her daughter’s husband and Delta North Senator, Ned Nwoko, of ordering her arrest.
Rita made the allegation in a private chat shared publicly by Regina via her Instagram Story, claiming the lawmaker directed that she be arrested on or before next Monday.
Although she did not state the reason behind the alleged order, her claim has added a dramatic twist to what appears to be a deepening rift within the Nwoko family.
The revelation comes just days after Regina Daniels posted an emotional video confessing that she was battling mental and emotional distress. “I tried. I feel like I’m going crazy, I’m losing my mind, and it’s not making any sense. I’m really crying in front of everybody,” the actress said tearfully.
She had also hinted at giving up, saying she would “go back,” though it remains unclear what she meant.
Neither Senator Ned Nwoko nor his representatives have publicly responded to Rita Daniels’ claims at the time of this report.
The unfolding drama has drawn widespread attention online, with fans expressing concern for Regina and urging the family to seek reconciliation privately.
