Popular Nigerian entertainer, DJ Chicken, was brutally assaulted by an angry mob after his car reportedly collided with two motorcycles in the Shagamu area of Ogun State on Saturday.

Eyewitnesses said the social media personality, known for his controversial antics, was attempting to assist the injured victims when the mob descended on him. A viral video circulating online shows the moment DJ Chicken was dragged and beaten as he tried to help one of the victims.

Voices in the footage alleged that the entertainer was speeding under the influence of alcohol when his vehicle rammed into the motorcycles on a narrow road. One of the victims, a woman said to be his passenger, was also seen lying on the ground with visible bleeding injuries.

The chaotic scene quickly drew attention from bystanders who joined the assault before security operatives reportedly intervened to restore order. The extent of injuries sustained by DJ Chicken and the victims remains unclear at the time of reporting.

Sources in Shagamu revealed that the incident came barely three weeks after DJ Chicken was accused of a separate hit-and-run case on the same street, sparking outrage among residents.

Police authorities in Ogun State have yet to issue an official statement on the incident or confirm whether DJ Chicken will face charges related to the crash.
