The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has commended Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, for fostering a business-friendly environment and implementing policies that encourage growth and development.
Mr. Chinedu Anyaso, Chairman of IPMAN Enugu Depot Community—which oversees operations in Anambra, Enugu, and Ebonyi States—praised the governor on Wednesday in Awka for his consistent support toward the petroleum sector and other businesses in the state.
According to Anyaso, the Soludo administration’s approval of harmonised levies agreed upon with petroleum marketers has eased business operations and reduced multiple taxation. He added that further discussions were underway at the local government level to ensure fairness in tax implementation.
The IPMAN chairman also lauded the governor’s strides in road construction, healthcare delivery, and human capital development, describing them as “clear evidence of quality and people-oriented leadership.”
He disclosed that the Anambra government had already begun profiling marketers owed for previously rendered services, assuring members that payments would be processed soon.
“Marketers under the Enugu Depot Community wish to thank Governor Soludo for creating an enabling environment for businesses, especially for our members,” Anyaso stated. “Beyond business support, the governor has performed well across several sectors, and we encourage him to keep up the good work.”
Anyaso also called on IPMAN members to participate actively but peacefully in the upcoming elections and to support Soludo’s re-election bid, urging full compliance with electoral and security guidelines.
