Nigerian music legend Innocent Ujah Idibia, widely known as 2Baba, has welcomed a baby girl with his wife, Natasha, who serves as a member of the Edo State House of Assembly.
Natasha announced the birth on social media, sharing a photo captioned “It’s a Girl” with prayer emojis as she celebrated the arrival of their daughter.
The baby was delivered on Thursday night at a hospital in Abuja, according to sources close to the family. The news quickly attracted a wave of congratulatory messages from fans and supporters online.
The birth comes a few months after 2Baba’s separation from his former wife, Annie Idibia, following reports of long-standing marital strain. Their split had generated widespread public interest given the couple’s high-profile relationship.
With this new addition, 2Baba is now father to eight children from four different women, further spotlighting his complex and widely discussed family dynamics. Natasha becomes the fourth woman to have a child with the Afrobeats star.
Despite constant scrutiny of his personal life, 2Baba remains one of Nigeria’s most influential artists, celebrated for his decades-long impact on Afrobeats and contemporary African music.
Messages of goodwill have continued to pour in across social media platforms, with fans expressing joy for the couple and wishing their newborn daughter good health and a bright future.
