Senator Ned Nwoko has broken his silence over the viral reports of domestic violence involving his actress wife, Regina Daniels, claiming that her alleged dependence on drugs and alcohol has caused repeated chaos and violence in their home.
The lawmaker, in a detailed statement posted on Facebook titled “Regina’s Unprovoked Carnage and Rampage in My House and in My Absence,” accused the Nollywood star of substance abuse, physical assaults, and property destruction.
“Regina was not always like this. Her current battle with drugs and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem,” Nwoko wrote.
“She must continue her rehabilitation program, or I fear for her life and safety. I have other wives, and none will ever accuse me of violence. Regina is the violent one here.”
According to Nwoko, Daniels had allegedly assaulted three domestic staff members and vandalised vehicles and windows in their Abuja residence during a recent outburst. He claimed the incident took place while he was away taking their son, Moon, to the hospital.
He further alleged that the chaos was instigated by one of Regina’s alleged drug suppliers, whom he identified only as “Sammy,” and accused another individual, “Ann,” of enabling her behaviour.
The senator added that his wife’s mental and physical safety could only be guaranteed if she resumed her rehabilitation program — either in Asokoro or abroad, “preferably in Jordan, where she will not have access to drugs.”
“A clear-headed Regina would have taken Moon to the hospital,” he said. “Instead, she threatened to kill our resident nurse for exposing her drug use.”
The post comes amid growing public debate following a viral video showing the actress in tears, accusing her husband of violence — a claim that sparked widespread outrage and calls for investigation.
Neither Regina Daniels nor her representatives have responded publicly to Nwoko’s allegations at the time of filing this report.
