Nigerian senator and businessman Ned Nwoko has refuted claims that he recently married another woman, describing the circulating reports as false and misleading.
The denial follows a viral video showing him alongside a woman, which sparked widespread speculation amid ongoing tensions in his marriage to actress Regina Daniels.
Speaking via a statement on his Instagram page, Nwoko clarified that the woman featured in the video visited him officially with her team under the Peace Ambassadors Initiative, led by Ambassador Dr. Adejo Sule. He emphasised that the footage had been misrepresented to generate clout and falsely link him to a new romantic relationship.
“A video showing a young woman who visited me with her team under Peace Ambassadors Initiative … is circulating online with false claims attempting to affiliate me with her,” he said.
Nwoko further warned that anyone continuing to spread the false narrative would face legal consequences, stressing his commitment to protecting his reputation.
“Any further propagation will attract appropriate legal action,” he added.
This statement comes as public scrutiny over Nwoko’s personal life intensifies, particularly his relationship with Regina Daniels.
