American rapper Kiari Cephus, better known as Offset, has finally spoken about the long-circulating rumours that he had an affair with rapper Saweetie, while also reflecting on the breakdown of his marriage to Grammy winner Cardi B.

During a candid conversation on Keke Palmer’s podcast, the former Migos star dismissed the cheating allegations as “strange and baseless,” insisting that there was no truth to the speculation.

“That whole Saweetie thing was just weird,” Offset said. “People ran with something that never happened. It was unnecessary drama.”

Addressing his split from Cardi B, the 33-year-old rapper admitted that his own behaviour played a key role in the collapse of their relationship. “I messed up, and it cost me my marriage,” he confessed, acknowledging that infidelity and poor choices had taken a toll on their union.

The rapper also opened up about his ongoing battle with grief following the death of his cousin and fellow Migos member, Takeoff, who was shot dead in 2022. “It’s been hard, but I’m learning to heal,” he shared.

Offset said therapy and faith have helped him through addiction and loss, and that he’s now focused on rebuilding his life. “I’m working on becoming a better man,” he said. “Healing, staying clean, and finding peace.”
