Celebrated TV host and media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu is set to debut a new podcast series titled “MENtality with Ebuka,” a bold platform that explores masculinity and the evolving realities of modern men in today’s society.

The highly anticipated series, produced by She Tank Studios in partnership with Empire Mates Entertainment (EME), is scheduled to premiere on October 28, 2025.

The debut season will feature an all-star lineup, including Seun Kuti, Banky Wellington (Banky W), Noble Igwe, Johnny Drille, Timi Dakolo, Hermes Iyele, and Murewa and Michael Sonariwo of the popular Menisms podcast.

According to the producers, MENtality will serve as an open, honest, and sometimes uncomfortable space for men to unpack their experiences — from love and faith to finances, relationships, and social expectations — while addressing the pressures of traditional gender roles.

Speaking about the project, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu said the show aims to help men embrace authenticity and vulnerability without fear of judgment.

“Too often, men feel pressured to fit into outdated moulds of masculinity,” he explained. “We’re creating a space where men can speak honestly about who they are — their struggles, fears, and growth — without shame.”

Co-producer Banky Wellington said the conversations go beyond men and are meant to spark deeper understanding across families and communities.

“These conversations are not just for men. They’re for women, families, and communities who are all impacted by evolving gender norms,” he said. “Our hope is that MENtality with Ebuka becomes a tool for understanding, empathy, and change.”

Blessing Omakwu, founder of The She Tank and executive producer of the podcast, added that addressing masculinity is a vital step toward achieving gender equality.

“Gender equality is impossible if we ignore masculinity,” Omakwu noted. “Issues like incel culture and gender-based violence are shaped by how men are taught to see themselves.”

New episodes of MENtality with Ebuka will drop weekly in both audio and video formats on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and other major streaming platforms.
