Legendary Nigerian musician, Innocent “2Face” Idibia, has reportedly been arrested in London following a heated altercation with his new wife, Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.
The alleged incident, which has since gone viral online, was first made public by Nigerian social critic Tosin Silverdam in a video shared on Instagram Friday morning.
According to accounts from a driver who conveyed the couple from the airport, tensions flared between Idibia and Osawaru as soon as they landed in London. The argument reportedly continued at their hotel, where matters escalated after Natasha allegedly smashed bottles during the row.
The report of Idibia’s arrest has dominated social media trends, particularly as the singer failed to appear for his scheduled UK tour performance on Thursday, October 2, 2025.
2Face’s marriage to Natasha, which took place in July 2025 through a traditional ceremony, came just months after he confirmed his separation from long-time partner and actress Annie Macaulay.
Neither Idibia’s management nor UK authorities have issued an official statement at the time of reporting, leaving fans anxiously awaiting confirmation and clarity over the incident.
