President Bola Tinubu will visit Imo State on Tuesday, 30 September 2025, to commission a string of infrastructure projects completed by Governor Hope Uzodimma’s administration.

The President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, confirmed the visit in a statement on Friday.

Governor Uzodimma, in a separate message, described the forthcoming visit as “a moment of great joy and deep honour” for the people of Imo.

Second visit in 2025

This will be Tinubu’s second official trip to Imo State in 2025. His last was in January, when he attended Uzodimma’s swearing-in for a second term.

The visit had initially been scheduled for August to commission what the state government described as “legacy projects” but was later postponed.
