AI-powered content creator Jarvis has revealed why she is yet to marry her fiancé, controversial TikTok star Peller, despite their public engagement earlier this year.
Speaking during a live TikTok session, the 23-year-old said her partner’s age remains a stumbling block to walking down the aisle. She explained that at 20, Peller may still change his mind about their relationship in the future.
“Peller can change one day and say I am too old for him. I’m old enough for marriage but Peller’s age is slowing me down. We would have been married if he was older. I have to ensure that he grows up to a certain age that is right. I can’t pressure him to get married at this age,” Jarvis told her followers.
Peller, however, dismissed her concerns, insisting he is ready for marriage and that his age should not be a barrier.
The pair, who have gained significant attention on TikTok for their playful relationship, confirmed their engagement during an interview with Channels TV in July 2025. Their romance has since divided opinion online, with some praising their openness while others question the viability of the relationship.
Observers say Jarvis’s caution reflects wider debates around age gaps in relationships, particularly when one partner is much younger and still building personal stability.
Whether the couple proceeds to marriage remains uncertain, but their unfolding story continues to capture the attention of Nigeria’s social media community.
