Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare says he is hungry for more goals after netting his first for Wolverhampton Wanderers in their Carabao Cup win over Everton.

The 23-year-old forward came off the bench in the 68th minute at Molineux and struck three minutes from time, sealing a 2–0 victory for Wolves after being set up by fellow substitute Joao Gomes.

His decisive finish not only secured passage to the next round but also marked a personal milestone in his early Wolves career.

Taking to X after the game, Arokodare wrote: “First goal in gold and we pray for more. Next round let’s go!! #teatime” — signalling his determination to build momentum in front of goal.

Signed to add depth to Gary O’Neil’s attacking options, the Nigeria international will be hoping to convert his cup form into Premier League success as Wolves aim to improve on their slow start to the campaign.
