Super Eagles winger Moses Simon has officially sealed a transfer to French Ligue 2 side Paris FC on a three-year contract that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2028.
The move was confirmed on Tuesday, June 25, 2025, with both Paris FC and Simon sharing the announcement on their official social media platforms. The 29-year-old joins after a successful five-year spell with FC Nantes, where he was a key figure in their 2022 Coupe de France triumph and numerous Ligue 1 campaigns.
Simon, known for his blistering pace and dribbling skills, is expected to bring experience and attacking flair to Paris FC as the club pushes for promotion to Ligue 1 next season. Sources close to the deal revealed that the Nigerian international was keen on staying in France despite receiving offers from other European and Middle Eastern clubs.
During his time at Nantes, Simon scored 27 goals and provided 34 assists in 164 appearances, making him one of Nigeria’s most consistent performers in European football.
Paris FC Sporting Director Pierre Ferracci described the signing as a major boost for the club’s ambitions. “Bringing in a player with Moses’ caliber and international experience shows how serious we are about gaining promotion,” he said during the unveiling.
Simon is expected to link up with his new teammates for pre-season training next week as preparations for the 2025/26 campaign get underway.
