A man known by the moniker ‘Mistina Orobo’ has shocked residents of Ibadan, Oyo State, with a chilling confession about his past as a ritual killer. Speaking on Fresh FM’s program “Opeyemi,” hosted by renowned social advocate Yinka Ayefele, the man detailed his harrowing journey of violence and newfound pursuit of redemption. Originally from the Foko area of Ibadan, he recounted how he took the lives of over 70 women to sustain mystical powers.

In the exclusive radio session, Mistina Orobo revealed that these rituals spanned seven years and were primarily carried out using victims sourced from nightclubs and popular hangouts. He disclosed the brutal reality of his actions, stating, “My idol takes about 73 to 76 women over seven years. The victims were taken from clubs and well-known spots. I needed their blood to renew the powers that made me immune to physical harm—bullets would not pierce my body, and even a machete would break upon impact. The most potent parts were the tongue, palm, and foot.”

His confessions took an even darker turn when he admitted to collaborating with influential figures, including bank managers and politicians, for whom he carried out hits for fees ranging from N50 million to N80 million. “I was popular in those circles. I’ve worked with bank managers and politicians. The first job I did for a bank manager involved killing a wealthy man based on insider information. After the job, we visited the last person needed to authorize the transaction and forced him to sign before eliminating him,” Mistina Orobo recounted.

He further revealed that he led teams of trained operatives, including highway robbers and armed gangs, ensuring that he secured his share of the profits from each operation.

Redemption and New Path

After years of violence, Mistina Orobo claimed that he found a path to redemption, which led him to embrace Christianity. He disclosed that he had spent four years studying in a seminary to become a prophet. “I am now in a seminary. I devoted four years to learning how to be a prophet. I am not aiming to establish a church; my goal is to share my story as a cautionary tale,” he said. According to him, he sold the wealth accumulated from his former life, including houses and cars, and turned to faith after a transformative dream in which he encountered Jesus.
