The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially announced that Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania will co-host the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN). The tournament, which features only players from domestic leagues, is set to take place from February 1 to February 28, 2025, in the three East African nations.

CAF also confirmed that the stadiums and training venues for the championship will be revealed soon, ahead of the event. Meanwhile, the qualifiers for CHAN 2024 will begin with the first round set to take place over the weekends of October 25-27 and November 1-3, 2024. The second round of qualifiers is scheduled for December 20-22 and December 27-29, 2024.

While Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania automatically qualify as co-hosts, they will also participate in the qualifiers, further boosting the excitement around the tournament.
