On May 4th, the country home of Prince Charles Amadi (Charlvon) in Eziama, Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State, will host a special celebration as he honors his wife, Ezinne Yvonne Gubemi Iyobosa Amadi, on her 60th birthday.

Prince Amadi, an influential figure in Imo, revealed this during interactions with media professionals, describing the event as a “Praise Day.” The celebration will commence with a church service, followed by a reception at their home, expected to be attended by esteemed dignitaries.

Praising his wife, Prince Amadi lauded her as a peacekeeper, bridge-builder, devoted wife, and mother who has played a pivotal role in his success. He expressed gratitude to her for guiding and supporting him throughout their journey together.


Reflecting on their early years, Prince Amadi reminisced about their humble beginnings, recalling their relationship since 1990 and their modest accommodations during visits to his parents. Despite coming from different socioeconomic backgrounds, he praised his wife for her unwavering support and encouragement.

He attributed her humility and strong prayer life as qualities that attracted him, noting that their children have also imbibed these virtues. Ezinne Yvonne Gubemi Iyobosa Amadi, a beloved figure known for her grace and warmth, hails from Edo and Delta States. Her marriage to Prince Amadi has been blessed with six children, including Hon. Akarachi Amadi, the Member of the Federal House of Representatives for Mbaitoli/Ikeduru constituency.
