Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has said the Red Devils can beat Manchester City ahead of Sunday’s derby at the Etihad Stadium.

The Red Devils go into the game sitting in sixth place, 15 points behind the Premier League champions.

Ten Hag’s men will also be looking to bounce back from a 2-1 home defeat to Fulham.

But Ten Hag, speaking to reporters, said: “This period is very good, we are united. We are in togetherness and [we will] make a good gameplan. We have done it before against City and also, lately, against Liverpool, so we will prepare well.
