Traditional Rulers in the entire Mbaise Nation have conferred on Dr. Summers Nwokie with the chieftaincy title ‘Aka Ji Ikukuoma Mbaise’.

Dr. Nwokie who is an industrialist and founder of the Ikukuoma Sports Development Foundation is a distinguished son of the Mbaise Nation.

The chieftaincy conferment ceremony which took place on August 15, 2023 at the palace of His Royal Highness Eze MJD Nwaturuocha in Nguru, Aboh Mbaise, saw the traditional rulers add more honours to Dr. Nwokie, who is already a high chief before the event.

Dr. Summers Nwokie who was received by a crowd of family, friends and wellwishers in hometown Ezeagbogu in Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Government of Imo State, had earlier pledged to support the development of the entire Mbaise Nation.

After thanking the traditional rulers during his acceptance speech, he said that the title will energize him further to do more things in Mbaise Nation.

He pledged to support the complete electrification of the three Local Government Areas Mbaise Nation and the project will commence in a matter of months.

The event attracted special guests such as the Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Imo State and his Deputy, Sen. Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu and Sir Jones Onyeriri; High Chief Sir Chibuzor Enwereuzor (Ogbaturu Enyi Mbaise); Members representing Aboh and Ezinihitte Mbaise State Constituencies Hon Eddy Obinna and Hon. Henry Agbasonu respectively.

Others are Sole Administrator, Ezinihitte Mbaise LGA, Hon.Dr Chukwuma C. Ojukwu; Deputy. Chief of Staff, Imo State Government, Hon. Sydney Emeka Agbo; Imo State Football Association members led by the Chairman, Mazi Amanze Uchegbulam; Hon. Oliver Enwerem; Sir Chime Aliliele, Hon. Ugochukwu Williams, Chief Tony Ihuoma (Ugo Si Na Chi Mbaise), Eze Elect Chibuzor Nwokoma among others

Members of the PDP, Traditional rulers, Titled chiefs, Ikukuoma Women and other organizations were also present.

Dr. Summers Nwokie (Aka Ji Ikukuoma Mbaise) is a celebrated diaspora based businessman who has through his Aka Ji Ikukuoma Foundation changed many lives.
