SUPER Eagles duo Tyronne Ebuehi and Samuel Kalu will play no part in Nigeria’s 2022 World Cup qualifier against Cape Verde today after the pair contracted COVID-19, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.

They were left out of the squad to face the Blue Sharks after being diagnosed with symptoms on Monday.

Ebuehi was expected to replace Ola Aina at right-back, while Kalu was poised to take Kelechi Iheanacho’s role in the team for the encounter.
