Sultry vocals relay romantic tales over melodic East African Pop.
On her debut EP, Ibintu, Burundian artist and performer Belle 9ice weaves honey-toned vocals into Afropop, R&B and Buja Flava instrumentation. With a multilingual approach, the singer relays tales of love with assistance from Sat-B and Bain Turo. The Trio combine on the catchy DJ Korona-, Herbert Skillz- and Ayo Mesesi- produced “Like”, while the zouk-infused “Your Heart” and amapiano-tinged “Sina Do” add an eclectic touch to the rhythms of East African pop.
Burundian singer-songwriter, Belle 9ice, emerges and takes centre stage back into the limelight with an EP dubbed “Ibintu“. Consisting of 6-tracks, the mini-album is an ode to love.
