According to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC,Imo State recorded 7 new cases of Covid-19 out of the 418 it reported forDecember 13, 2020.
Imo State which has seen a total 681 confirmed casesadded 7 to it with only 24 of them active.
The state has seen 12 deaths from the pandemic with 645persons discharged.
Lagos State recorded 113 cases, followed by FCT Abujawith 86 cases out of the 418 it reported for December 13, 2020.
The cases are shared as follows; Lagos-113, FCT-86, Abia-47,Kaduna-39, Rivers-27, Katsina-22, Benue-14, Oyo-13, Kano-12, Enugu-8, Edo-7, Imo-7,Bauchi-6, Ebonyi-6, Ogun-6, Ondo-4, and Nasarawa-1.
So far, Nigeria has recorded 73,175 confirmed with 66,090discharges and 1,197 deaths.
Amidst a surge in cases, NCDC in their #TakeResponsibilitycampaign has urged Nigerians to limit all non-essential travel during the Christmas& New Year festivities.
There is still a call for Nigerians to limit person-to-personcontacts with citizens urged to always wear a face mask
