According to him, “ I was elected the Chairman of our party in Imo State with other great men and women to pilot the affairs of the party from July 2018 to July 2022 and I was subsequently sworn in”.;

“The ruling never declared anybody chairman in my place and never removed any elected officer of the party as it was not even the judgment that put us into office but the judgment simply confirmed our election” He stated.

Nwafor therefore stated thus: “may I state that anybody who wishes to be the chairman or officer of our party should simply wait for election and contest and if he wins, he is elected. The days of back door politics are gone”.
