Many artistes in Imo State might no longer remember how ‘dope’ the ‘rap-venoms’ of LMG were because it has really been a while since he released a song.
The rapper was supposed to make a public appearance the RunWay Entertainment’s Independence Night Concert, but negotiations with the organizers stalled the performance, with many Imo State based artistes sitting out because of their ‘No Pay No Performance’ decision.
LMG which stands for the LAST MAN GRINDING instead of a GUN in everyday world has always been at the forefront of revolutions, controversies and one of them favoured him in 2012 when he was threatened by music producer Regis and the beef which ensued saw LMG release the track ‘MBO’ which went on to make him the artiste he is today.
He has gone from one artiste everyone looked forward to hearing from to a ‘myth’, especially to the new generation and there is a widespread believe that he would find it difficult to cope with what music is today.
Although he has always been an influence in decisions, but the question remains, does LMG need another fight to launch him, or will a song do the magic?
