The governorship candidate of Accord Party, Dr. Ikedi Ohakim, has appointed some heads of campaign groups.
They include: Barr. Chidimma Okorie (Head, Ohakim Ladies); Mr. Irobi Darlington (Head, Ohakim Green Club) and Mr. Igboayaka .O. Igboayaka (Head, Ohakim Kick-Out Poverty Club).
According to a release issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Collins Ughalaa on Sunday, Ohakim announced the appointments during a meeting with some critical stakeholders in Owerri on Saturday.
The release added that the stakeholders collapsed their different structures into the Accord Governorship campaign 2019.
Irobi is a graduate of Public Administration and hails from Obazu Mbieri in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state.
He is a social commentator and political activist. He is also a strong believer in the rule of law and good governance and also the convener of Omamme group.
Irobi, the release noted collapsed the Omamme group to the Ohakim’s governorship structure. He is now the head of Ohakim Green Club.
In a similar vein, Igboayaka, the National Publicity Secretary of Ohaneze youts Council (OYC), has resigned his appointment as the state organizing secretary of Labour Party in Imo state and he is now the head, Ohakim Kick-Out Poverty club.
Igboayaka, Ughalaa said, is a social critic and crusader, media and political consultant known for his hard stance against bad governance and corruption.
