Queen Bukola Ojo, Face of Independence Nigeria on Saturday, visited the Internally-Displaced Persons (IDP) Camp of Bakassi returnees in Cross Rivers State.
The beauty queen, who was accompanied by the Founder of the pageant, Miss Catherine Eriom, said that the visit was part of the beauty queen’s birthday celebration activities.
According to the reigning queen, visiting the IDPs is her way of identifying with them in their plights, especially the children who have left their education and the comfort of their homes.
