Gospel singer Chioma Okonkwo has revealed that her return to the music industry has not been spurred by how lucrative it has become, but a move to fulfil her calling to win souls for the kingdom of God through music.
Chioma who made her debut into the music industry with two albums to her name between 2002 and 2006 said her return is not about the money, but the impact.
“I’ve always known that I have that calling and one thing people don’t know is that I stopped releasing songs, but didn’t stop singing.
“I have been very active in my music ministry and can’t really count the number of places I have ministered as a guest artiste since then” She said.
Ready for her return, she will be releasing a single titled ‘Halleluya’ featuring Kings Music Entertainment singer Cruz, on Sunday May 14, 2017 and she said; “Everything will be changing after with the single”
“My style of music, lyrics and carriage will change because I have more Jesus than I had previously. When the Holy Spirit is inspiring you to do things, it usually goes a different way and there is no way people will not love it” she said.
