Contrary to what most people would say to artistes based in the eastern part of the country, comedian and On-Air Personality, Mc Tboy has urged Imo State based entertainers and their counterparts in the South-Eastern part of the country especially, to forget the quick trip they usually embark on to Lagos State in search of a better market.
Mc Tboy made the post via Facebook, calling on his colleagues to work hard in their home states so as to leave with an identity.
“You don’t have to run away from our Dear state to Lagos just because u [sic] want to make it… Lagos has a larger entertainment market that’s true but you have to build your Brand from Here” he wrote.
He cited that although Lagos has a larger market, the artistes would end up ‘confused and frustrated’ if they have not really made a name for themselves in their home states. .
“Pay your dues first in your home State, that way, you move with an Identity” he added.
