Dear Bro. Fuston,
Whatever advice you give to me concerning my issue is what I am going to work with.
I graduated from the University last two years and have been working as a computer operator since one year now.

I am 28 years now and have been friendly with this guy who told me he is 32 years and dropped out of school,a Polytechnic, after his OND due to lack of finances to  continue his study.
He is a very nice guy, but what I don’t like about him is what he does to earn his living. He is one of those people that go about looking for construction sites for menial jobs, like mixing of cement, laying of blocks and such works.
Can I marry him? Can he be able to take care of a family? I like him as a person, but I wonder what the future holds for us with his kind of job if we eventually get married. What is your opinion on this?
Chiudo, from Owerri.

Dear Chiudo,
The decision to marry him or not is yours, but since you seek my opinion, I assure it will be candid.
Are you relaxed with his character? If your answer is yes, then he is a marriage material. Does he fear God? If yes is your answer, then marry him.
What he is doing now as a young man is less immaterial. What is uppermost is the dream he has for his future and how he intends to achieve it. He can be whatever he desires to be in future, depending on how he goes about it. The Bible admonished that we should not look down or disregard the years of our little beginning. Some rich, famous and mighty men in the world today, started so little.
Find out if he is one that strives to achieve growth, or one that can be easily stagnated by the visititude of life.
He can get a better job if adequate effort is made. He has a footing, OND; he can upgrade. Spur him on; tell him to save for education because it can help to elevate a person. Don’t despair because of his kind of person, rather I suggest you dig deep to know if he has the ability to pursue growth. Happy Weekend.
