Destiny Child Gospel Music Talent Hunt which had its first edition on July 3rd 2012 is set for the second edition which is billed to hold in Owerri, Porthacourt,  Lagos and other six locations in the country.

A release from the organizers has it that the purpose of the talent hunt is to help gospel artistes in the country use their God-given talents to move to the highest level of the genre.
“The purpose as conceived is to create a platform for Nigerian gospel music singers to showcase their God-given talent and prepare them for a professional gospel music career, as it is evident of abundant talents in most Churches are waiting to be discovered”
The first edition saw the emergence of a group, Supreme Six, which has Israel Funsho, Femi Flame, Rasine Brown, Shalom Olurunfemi, David Agbroko and Ojoh Frances who were finalists from first to sixth positions respectively.
The group thus embarked on a nationwide tour tagged “PRODUCT OF HOPE” last month, during which they performed hit songs from their just concluded albums.
The release also has it that audition has kicked off on August 15, 2013 in nine cities the Country which include Abuja, Makurdi, Owerri, Porthacourt, Uyo, Asaba, Benin, Ekiti and Lagos.
Brand New Car, One million Naira Cash Prize, Autograph records deal worth Three Million Naira; Autograph Records Deal worth Two Million naira and Autograph Records deal worth One Million Naira are the top three prizes for participants at the event while U-Cheena, Samsong, Tim Godfrey and Wole Oni will serve as judges.
IFeanyi Chinonso Kalu a.k.a Iphie will work in collaboration with Ibrahim Suleiman a.k.a Quest, as host to improve the quality of the show this season.
