The Nkwerre LGA born artiste who never believed much in his singing ability until he did a freestyle on a beat that was previously used by PSquare, earlier said that he does not know the path to follow because most people were advising him to quit rapping for singing.
“It is so funny when you hear things like that from people you respect so much. Some of them told me to stop rapping and improve my game as a singer, while other who have listened to me as a rapper are telling me that singing will be a temporary thing for me because I have always been a rapper” He said.
Although the freestyle gave birth to his debut track ‘Sugar’, he still believes he can be both singer and rapper as an artistes and there would be no point dropping any of his God-given skill for another since they are both characteristics of an artiste.
Kenny C’s debut single ‘Sugar’ is to be released this weekend, Saturday May 15, 2013 via online blogs and entertainment websites for free download as well as radio stations around the state and beyond.
