Divincci the Lalolo crooner cannot deny the fact that it took him a very long time to get back into the music scene after the living with the speculations that he was quitting music.
The singer who released the hit single ‘Lalolo’ in 2009 and latter did ‘Ginger my thing’ a cover of PSquare’s ‘chop my money’, said he had take his time to make a good comeback denying ever thinking about quitting music.
Speaking to www.otowngist.com, he said “People might have various opinions on why I have not released any single for years now, but I am the artiste they are talking about and I know why everything happened they way they happened.
“Sometimes you just want to take time to study your environment just to avoid an impression that will drag you down the scale.
“The fact still remains that I took time to announce my return, but the most important thing is how I’ll return so as to make every other thing that was said about me a forgotten story”
He is set to release the single ‘Gbaratunu something’, a titled that says nothing less than ‘I am a party track’ on June 30, 2013 and the heat is already building up for him and the fans who cannot wait for that day.
“No doubt I still feel a little nervous because everything has changed in the industry, not even the Owerri that used to be dull is cold any more. People now know good music and they want nothing less than that. I don’t know how the single will be accepted, but experience has taught me that no one bearing the name Divincci will disappoint his fans” He added.
Divincci’s last appearance on a song was in E-Black’s ‘Take a way’ where he was featured, he spoke ahead of the release of ‘Gbaratunu something’ which will as usual be premiering online and radio stations nationwide on June 30, 2013.
