The Chief Executive Officer of Prince Noel Production, Mr. Prince Emmanuel Unegbu has commended the Imo State Governor, Anayo Rochas Okorocha over the appointment of Mr. Chinedu Offor as the 27th Commissioner of Information and Strategy, which he further described as a square peg in square hole.
The American based international event promoter of repute, Prince Emmanuel Unegbu made this known while briefing newsmen in Owerri, recently.
Prince Unegbu who is however optimistic that Mr. Offor, a former voice of America employee will bring in his international experience and innovation to bear in the state further described him as a media guru, noting that the Ministry of Information and Strategy will experience a face lift.
Asserting that information is ruling the world now, he opined that the new Commissioner for Information and Strategy will continue the good work which Dr. Obinna Duruji started, by creating a very conducive environment for media practitioners to operate in.
Unegbu the producer of the annual Night of elegant fashion and the Chief Executive Officer of Prince Noel Production enthused that from the much he know, that Mr. Offor in the information management, would excel, as he extolled him as being humble, accessible and kind hearted.
Speaking further, Prince Unegbu, charged Mr. Offor to work in synergy with journalists, especially with local tabloids in State whereby making sure that the exploits and achievements of the governor are brought to public knowledge. He also counseled Mr. Offor to use his new office to make sure that Igbo culture and tradition do not go extinct, which he said was the main reason why he is organizing Imo Day in Texas, come July 15, 2012.
