The police has confirmed the killing of an operative of Ebubeagu, a security outfit set up by South-East Governors to assist other security agencies in the fight against insecurity in the region.

The Ebonyi state police command confirmed on Thursday March 24 that Mr Magnus Iganda was killed on Wednesday March 23, in his house in Ezza North Local Government Area of the state.

Police spokesperson in the state, DSP Loveth Odah said the command had commenced investigation into the incident.

Odah said; 

“Yes, we are aware of the killing, the police are investigating and the perpetrators will surely be arrested”
