Cardi B Reveals Son’s Name With Stefon Diggs on His First Birthday
American rapper Cardi B has revealed the name of her son with NFL player Stefon Diggs as the couple’s child celebrated his first birthday.
The rapper announced the name as Grey Marsean Diggs in an Instagram post on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, alongside photographs of the toddler.
Cardi, who shares three older children with her estranged husband, rapper Offset, described her youngest son as a source of strength during one of the most uncertain periods of her life.
“Happy 1st birthday to Grey Marsean Diggs!! It’s only been 1 year since meeting you but it feels like I’ve had you at my side forever,” she wrote.
She explained that carrying Grey during a challenging period gave her additional strength, describing the experience as one that changed her outlook on life.
“I was growing you inside of me and at the same time you were giving me life!” she added, saying her son brought happiness into her life and brightened every room with his smile and personality.
The birthday post also marked the first public confirmation of the boy’s name and provided a clearer indication of his birth date. Cardi had previously announced the arrival of her fourth child in November 2025 but had kept his name private.
The rapper had hinted at the name during a public appearance at the launch of baby brand Cybex’s flagship store in New York, where she told an interviewer that she liked it but was not ready to disclose it.
Grey’s first Halloween also featured a playful reference to his name, with Cardi sharing a photograph of him dressed in scrubs in front of a sign referencing the television medical drama Grey’s Anatomy.
The child is Cardi B’s first with Diggs, a wide receiver for the New England Patriots. Her three older children, Kulture, Wave and Blossom, are from her relationship with Offset.
In her birthday message, Cardi expressed gratitude for the joy her youngest child had brought into her life, describing motherhood as an important part of her personal journey.
