Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham has shed light on how she balances her marriage and her work on set, revealing that trust plays a central role in keeping jealousy out of her relationship.

Speaking during an interview on The Morayo Show with host Morayo Afolabi-Brown, the actress addressed public curiosity about whether her husband gets uncomfortable with her romantic roles in films.

She made it clear that her marriage is built on mutual understanding, adding that jealousy over her on-screen performances is not an issue in their home. According to her, both partners respect the demands of each other’s public and professional lives.

Toyin also reflected on a moment when she once came across a post on her husband’s Instagram page that briefly unsettled her. However, she stressed that it did not escalate into conflict or damage the trust they share.

On the subject of kissing scenes in movies, the actress said she is fully comfortable performing such roles when required by a script. She explained that her work as an actor sometimes demands emotional and physical expressions that remain strictly professional.

She further noted that many of her colleagues’ spouses understand the nature of her job and are not threatened by her roles on set. For her, clear boundaries between personal life and professional duties remain non-negotiable.

Toyin was firm in stating that she does not cross moral lines in her personal life, insisting that her marriage is protected by principles and discipline. She emphasised that while she can perform scenes required by a script, her real-life values remain unchanged.
