Former Big Brother Naija winner Phyna has revealed she does not currently see herself getting married or having biological children, sparking widespread reactions across social media.
In a viral video circulating online, the reality star opened up about her personal outlook on relationships and family life, linking her decision to emotional experiences and repeated heartbreak.
Phyna said she is at a stage in her life where she no longer prioritises traditional expectations such as marriage or motherhood.
She explained that instead of raising children, she now prefers to focus her emotional energy on caring for pets.
“After all, I don’t even want to have a child. I’m very fertile, but I just want to be a cat and dog mom,” she said.
She added that her perspective may have been shaped by past relationship struggles, noting that some women begin to rethink life choices as they approach their 30s.
“I think the love for animals in women kicks in when we’re approaching 30s, especially when you don’t see yourself settling down or maybe you’ve been into so many broken relationships,” she added.
Her comments have triggered mixed reactions online, with some users supporting her openness about personal choice, while others criticised her stance on marriage and motherhood.
Phyna, who rose to fame after winning Big Brother Naija, has remained a frequent topic in entertainment conversations due to her outspoken personality and candid remarks on lifestyle and relationships.
