Nigerian comedian and musician Nasboi has said he would prioritise wealth over fame if given another chance at life, revealing that the pressures of celebrity life have left him exhausted.
The entertainer, who transitioned from comedy to music in recent years, shared his thoughts on X on Sunday while reflecting on his future in the industry.
Nasboi admitted he regretted choosing fame ahead of financial stability in his early career, saying the decision placed him under immense stress.
He hinted at a possible retirement plan, explaining that once he reaches a personal financial target, he intends to step away from the spotlight entirely.
“I will choose to have money over being famous. I no fit try this kind of thing for my next life again,” he wrote, emphasising how demanding fame has become.
According to him, the moment his earnings hit ₦5 billion, he plans to quit all forms of entertainment — from skit-making to music and acting — to enjoy a quieter life.
“Once my money completes 5 billion, I don disembark. I no do again. No skit, no music, and no acting. Make the brain rest,” he added.
